Melodies and Dinner
on 27 September with Dorottya Udvaros

photo_udvaros_dorottyaWith the end of the summer, the theatre season gets going again, performances are launched and stage life comes back into focus. The wave of summer festivals in Budapest has peaked and as autumn and the grape harvest approach the spotlight shifts from open-air programmes to gastronomy and culinary events. Cuisine is an important part of all our lives: either because we enjoy cooking or because we enjoy eating. Everyone has stories about the favourite tastes and aromas of childhood, and about what mother or grandmother cooked in the kitchen.

The same is equally true of top actors and actresses of our day. We have the opportunity of finding out about the favourite meals of popular artists, and their adventures in the world of gastronomy, during the Melodies and Dinner programme series starting on 27 September in Átrium Restaurant of Corinthia Hotel Budapest on Erzsébet Boulevard.

But what makes this programme truly unique is that the artists also entertain guests with quality programmes and musical shows, and during the evening they share their personal reminiscences with regard to individual dishes, they are open to chatting with the guests and answering their questions, thus making these events really special occasions.

The first in the Melodies and Dinner series stars Dorottya Udvaros and takes place on 27 September 2013.
Other performances: 24 October 2013 with János Kulka, 21 November 2013 with Gyula Bodrogi and 19 December 2013 with Barbara Hegyi.

Tickets for the evening of entertainment and fine dining cost HUF 24,990/person and can be ordered from +36 1 479 4722 or at cuisine.budapest@corinthia.com.
