St. Martin’s Day Brunch
St. Martin’s Day (11 November) is much celebrated in Hungary: we are serving roast goose along with chestnuts, pumpkin, cabbage and cheese. New wines and a Beaujolais-style wine are served as an aperitif from the trolley. The decoration is very much in keeping with the time of year, including a barrel, terracotta jugs and in-season crops (apples, grapes, walnuts and chestnuts). Live music and a folk dance presentation enhance the convivial mood.
